About
A field guide
for pet parents.
F urgazine is a breed-by-breed field guide for people who live with dogs (and some cats). One breed, one honest deep-dive, every week. No "top 10 cutest puppies" slideshows, no sponsored food pushes, no breed shaming.
Each guide answers the questions you actually have before or after bringing a dog home: how much exercise do they really need, what should you feed them, what are they prone to, what gear fits, what do the forums say that's actually true.
What we cover
Working dogs, herding dogs, couch dogs, pocket dogs. Training plans, grooming schedules, apartment-compatibility, puppy-buying guides, gear recommendations, and health watch-lists. A little cat content too — enough that cat people aren't left out.
What we don't cover
Medical advice. We're not your vet, and nothing here is a substitute for one. When we talk about breed-prone conditions, it's to help you know what to watch for and when to call — not to self-diagnose.
Who's behind this
Furgazine was founded by Aliasgar Essaji, a software developer based in Switzerland who builds products that help people. He started Furgazine to make it easier to find honest, specific breed information — the kind that helps you choose the right dog and care for it well, without the fluff.
